SCORE
Chapter 212
Business
Resource Center
__________________________________________

The
Center closed as of November 18,
2005
We
have investigated a number of possibilities for a 'new home'. However, we are
currently negotiating with a host for a permanent location. We are
optimistic and hope to see you soon.

We
moved into the Terry Neese Entrepreneurial Center in October, 2001 and are very
appreciative of our host for these past four years.
Reluctantly, we've had to move our BRC.
We do not have, at this time, a new address. As our situation changes, we will post that
information on this page.
To
contact any of our SCORE counselors from the Business Resource Center, call
our downtown office, 405 609-8004, and arrange for an appointment.

The
Business Resource Center (BRC) provides a one-stop location where current
and future small business owners can receive assistance and advice at no
charge. The BRC combines an extensive small business reference library, the
latest Dell computer technology and a collection of management videotapes to
help entrepreneurs plan a new business or expand an existing business. The BRC
has high-speed internet access and a bookmark collection of Web sites to
assist in business plan preparation and research.
The
availability of a variety of business software offers clients a means of
addressing diverse needs. In addition to the self-help hardware, demographic
information, software (including 2005 Business Plan Pro) and reference
materials, SCORE's Resource Center has on-site SCORE counseling available. These former - and
current - business men and women lend their expertise and knowledge to assist
clients with problems and issues confronting those starting, managing or
growing a small business. Appointments can be arranged to meet with a SCORE
counselor for free one-on-one assistance with business plan
preparation or for tutoring in the use of the internet for research
purposes.
